LTC/FID Training Class
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot handguns. The class runs from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Students will receive a handbook for the Basic Pistol Shooting Course. A Commonwealth of Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this course. This course meets all the requirements for getting an LTC Class A large capacity license for Massachusetts.
The cost of the LTC/FIDCourse is $100.00.
The course has limited enrollment and classes fill up fast.

- If you join Nenameseck Sportsmen’s Club within 6 months the $20.00 initiation fee will be waived. (An RSO class at Nenameseck Sportsmen’s Club will be required to have access to the indoor and outdoor firearms ranges.)

Law Enforcement Training
LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION -must preregister
Hours: 8 a.m. to noon or by appointment
Groups of 5 or more may be scheduled at different times if they wish and sufficient notice is given
LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act) qualification for retired officers of any law enforcement agency. $50 fee
MPTC (Municipal Police Training Council) Handgun Qualification for ACTIVE law enforcement officers. $50 fee

Practical Defensive Handgun
COMING SOON: PRACTICAL DEFENSIVE HANDGUN $100 fee. Course runs for 4-6 hrs depending on class size.
This course is for any and all handguns and any and all methods of carry that the student utilizes on a daily basis It is designed specifically for the student that carries for personal defense and incorporates the latest accepted practices used by law enforcement and the military for defensive shooting in armed confrontations. This is NOT a precision target shooting course, but rather a “close quarters battle” skill development session that focuses on actions within defensive handgun range of maximum 7-10yds.
Emphasis is placed on proper equipment selection, access to weapon, situational awareness and appropriate response, multiple assailants, weapon function and immediate action, and point/instinctive shooting. Classroom portion addresses use of force issues, pertinent laws, and shooting incident aftermath.
In addition to the course fee, shooters will be required to provide their own personal protective gear and not less than 200 rounds of ammunition.
