Nenameseck Sportsmen’s Club Dog Policy
Dogs are welcome on club property under the following conditions:
1. Leash & Control:
All dogs must be kept on a leash and under the control of their owner at all times while on club grounds.
2. Indoor Areas:
• When no event is taking place: Dogs are allowed inside the clubhouse, provided they remain leashed and under the control of their owner.
• When an event is in progress: Dogs are not permitted inside the clubhouse unless they are secured in a crate and kept out of the way of the event.
• Permission for dogs to be inside during events is at the discretion of a club officer, director, and/or event coordinator. All permissions are subject to change at any time and for any reason.
3. Kitchen Area:
For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed inside the kitchen at any time.
4. Range Areas:
Dogs shall not interfere with any event or member using any of the indoor or outdoor ranges. Owners must keep dogs safely away from active shooting or archery areas at all times.
5. Owner Responsibility:
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and for any damage or disturbance caused by them.
Any damages—whether to club property or to a member’s or guest’s property—will be the responsibility of the dog’s owner.
The club may help facilitate communication between the parties involved, but will not be responsible for or take part in any resulting actions, claims, or settlements.

⚠️ Courtesy Reminder
We do not want to impose additional restrictions on dogs at the club.
Please help us keep this privilege by:
• Picking up after your dog
• Preventing dogs from jumping on, tripping or biting people.
• Avoiding any damage to club property and members’ or guests’ property.
• Keeping dogs away from range users and active shooting areas.
We ask that all members and guests adhere to these rules, as we’ve worked hard to keep them to a minimum.
Your cooperation ensures that dogs remain welcome at Nenameseck Sportsmen’s Club.
Thank you for your understanding and respect for our property and fellow members.
